The Waave Foundation was founded to expand access to resources for scholars and artists, with a special focus on 20th-century modern art. Our mission is to preserve, share, and make accessible the creative legacies of women — and the broader circles of peers, collaborators, and contemporaries who shaped modernist movements alongside them. While our focus is on amplifying women’s contributions, we recognize the importance of situating their work within the wider artistic networks of the modern era, ensuring all of these contributions are recognized, studied, and accessible.
